DAY 284

That's One Ride...
Back in 2009, when I lived in Orlando for the Church Internship, a friend of mine took me to festival put on by the Catholic Church in the area. They went all in, with rides and entertainment, and not to mention the wonderful food. I know my friend went to support his band, but the rides were amazing that night as well. Trying my best not to move I took these two time-lapse photographs without a tripod.

DAY 283

The Entrance
This picture, taken in early 2006 is of the Entrance into Warner University.

DAY 282

Stone Rd
A path at Bok Tower Gardens that had thousands of stones placed length-wise on end to make for an interesting path. This low-angle shot was taken in 2006.

DAY 281

Sweet-Tea
What the south offers; the nectar of the gods.

DAY 280

Royals Life
In 2007, Warner held a Midnight Madness Pep Rally for the college's men's basketball team. During that time, Kristy Connor painted faces. I was able to catch her put a paw print on a girl's face before I went into the gym that night.

DAY 279

Holly
My old car, a green 1995 Subaru Legacy Sedan. I drove it for 50,000mi since the time I received in in January 2005 to when I sold it in August 2009. The car saw me through my four years at Warner University. I called her "Holly" because she was a holly green colored car. Mmm the days of Holly.

DAY 274

More from the 2008 Shuttle Launch at Vero Beach. Mike Aubrey was willing to take some breathtaking shoots of him playing his guitar next to the moonlight. My favorite was when I told him to hold his guitar over his head and pretend to through it into the Atlantic. The shot turned out well and I named it:

::Giving Up::

Later in the year I entered the photo in the Laural Art show, but never placed.  The photo went on to hang at Whitehall Camp and Conference Center until it fell off the wall and broke a couple months later.  The where-abouts of this printing are not known.

DAY 273

In the Spring of 2007, my then-room-mate Dan Scott and I decided to take a day and go to the beach in his old hometown. So we took the day and went to Clearwater Beach. On the way we encountered a sign in downtown Clearwater that pointed us to the beach. On the way back we had breathtaking views of Gulf water and palm trees. Here are the shots from that day.

DAY 272

Taken in November 2008, this shot is of the waves crashing over some rocks at Honeymoon Island on the Gulf of Mexico.

DAY 271

"Audience of One"

These shots were taken at Vero Beach in Florida on a moon-lit night in November 2008. Mike Aubrey, Crissy Gee, and myself decided to race towards the beach in time to catch a night launch of a space shuttle. After the beaches cleared, we stayed for a couple of hours doing photography. These three shots are the best shots we had that night.
