So let's update you all on the long story of my life and art. In October 2014 I was installed as the senior pastor of Scotland Ave Church of God in Punxsutawney, PA. I have yet to put down the camera, but I have seen a decrease in clientele with the new full time job. That's alright. I will always continue to sell prints and make art. But with the full time job, I am more selective with my weddings, and portraitures.
Along with being a full time Pastor, I temporarily do the bulletins and graphic design work for the themes of the sermons. I wanted to stop by and post this latest theme: Called to be Fishers of Men. Fishing is something that is near and dear to me and I believe fishing speaks to many people in my region of the country. Perhaps that is why Jesus called a few fishermen and told them that their new job, their new lifestyle would be capturing people's hearts for the kingdom of God. It's a job they were called to, and it's a job we are called to, to be Fishers of Men.
Although the water horizon and bobber is not my design, the rest is all hand-graphic designed, including the lifesavers, hook, sea floor, and fishing line.
